These new
plastics have to be seen to be believed - the pictures and descriptions
simply cannot do them any justice! These 5" Minnows are as close to a spearing
or thin bodied baitfish as
any lure I've ever seen - they have pectoral fins, even have
rattles built into each one! Perfect for rigging as teasers or as
trailers to any jig! I've rigged a few with 5/0 Mustad 9175 hooks
and they were perfect...I can't wait to throw them into a bunch of
fussy spearing / sandeel eating stripers :-) For ball jigs, I'd
recommend hook sizes from 3/0 to 7/0 and weights anywhere from 1/4oz
to 2oz, depending on where you are fishing. And on the back of a
Smilin' Bill bucktail - look out!
