Proportionally bigger than the Mustad hooks...stronger and lighter as well. These VMC hooks have a shorter point and a smaller, neater barb than the Mustad hooks. Plain or dressed by me with white bucktail and red thread. USE: 2/0 and 3/0 on the smallest plugs. 4/0 on 1 ounce and lighter swimmers where too much weight might affect their action. 5/0 on 1 ounce and heavier plugs or plugs where a little added weight wouldn't adversely affect their action.

VMC 9626PS 4X Strong Replacement Treble Hooks  
These are the strongest replacement trebles going - 4X strong. Shorter shank so that adding a split ring to a plug that used to have open eye trebles on it is not a problem. Extremely sharp right out of the box. They handle salt very well. Made of lighter but extremely strong steel.  Coupled with the extra heavy split rings below, these hooks can "cow proof" any plug you own!
