Smelly Jelly
I keep at least one flavor Smelly Jelly in my vest pocket at all times - ya never know when you might need to add a little realistic stank to your lures
I never fish
plastic/rubber lures without Smelly Jelly - not only does it add a
very realistic, long lasting scent to your lure but it also covers
up any "human" odors - very important if you smoke whilst
you fish! Smelly Jelly adds a "slime" like coating to your lures,
adding further to the realism of your offering. I use the stuff on
rubber rigged eels...and even on real ones when they get a little
"funky" but are still fishable. I've used Smelly Jelly
successfully on plugs, bucktails, flies, and all sorts of
rubber/plastic baits. Some of the flavors have tiny glitter flakes
added - looks like scales falling off a crippled critter...one more
reason to put it on :-)
