 - Super Shad Raps - Rapala lures are amazing in that they are carved from Balsa wood, hand tuned, tank tested lures...each one swims! These are the toughest of the Rapalas that we've ever come across, the hardware is strong, the lip is apparently indestructible, and the finishes are beautiful! Another unique lure, a real niche filler if you will. There's nothing like this one in any surf shop that I've ever seen. The action of the Super Shad Rap is spectacular, it's deep body and wide lip really give it the appearance of a struggling shad, herring, or bunker. The hardware is top notch, right down to the 4X VMC hooks! These lures float and will fish anywhere from the surface with a nice, disturbing little wake all the way down to 5-6ft in a fair current :-) |
