There's been requests...there's been begging and pleading...I think I even heard crying...but now you can rest much easier folks, I got the videos you seek! Just in time for the "off season"...now if I can just figure out when that is! ;-)

There has, to my knowledge, no one in the world with more hours spent studying our striped quarry underwater than Mike Laptew...quite the gentleman by the way. He's from Rhode Island...and he's good friends with Hab's...any friend of Hab's is a friend of mine!

So what are these videos all about? Stripers, stripers, stripers, big stripers, small stripers, feeding stripers, hiding stripers, migrating stripers, and then there's the stripers! Being quite the student of the striped school of hard knocks, I've often pondered all things striper. My prayers have been answered...now I can watch them on my TV! In my mind, there is absolutely no better way to catch more stripers than to peek into the secret underwater world and watch our striped friends at work, rest, and play. All this is made possible through these videos.

And what's this Surf Fishing & Distance Casting video got to do with catching more stripers you ask? Well if there's one thing I'm told Ron Arra knows, it's catching stripers! And he's been know to throw stuff further...much further in fact...than the fellers he's fishing with! I know, I know, that's two things...but if the man's good, he's good! Ron's reputation precedes him as not just an outstanding surf fisherman and distance caster, but also as one of the nicest folks you will likely ever meet.

If these pictures give you cold sweats and send your thumb looking to snub the spool, these videos are the only medicine! ;^) I'm not sure which I found to be cooler, watching stripers feed underwater...something I've always wondered exactly how it took place...or watching Ron Arra empty a reel while the poor machines bearings scream at a fevered pitch that would make my Dremel Drill envious. The perfect blends of fishing, scenery, and how to. The icing on the cake is the peek Mike Laptew and his camera allow us into the mysterious underwater world of the striped bass.....
