Red over white hackle Deceiver: Another big winner this past year, red over white has been a big favorite with the local fishes! It was also excellent on our last two trips to Cape Cod. Excellent contrast without being gaudy. Good searching pattern, excellent during the day or night. Red is one of the most visible colors in the dark and in deeper water. JohnM landed many puppy drum, specs, and stripers in North Carolina with this fly...he said they are it better than the jig, other teasers, and plugs combined!
