- What Lamiglas has to say about these rods -
"The blanks used in this premiere series of graphite surf rods are preferred over all others by custom rod builders. These super sensitive graphite blanks are the ultimate in casting performance, ideal for the pounding surf environment. The super high gloss, clear coated blanks feature black wraps and black and gold on the butt and logo areas. Final touches include Fuji Hardloy guides, graphite cushioned reel seats and attractive and functional EVA and cork tape handles. Available in one and two piece models."
- What we'd like to add -
Possibly the most popular of surf/jetty rods in my neck of the woods and many points north of here, these rods have likely been responsible for the education of more fish than all the other brands combined. There's a Surf/Jetty rod from Lamiglas for almost every need you could encounter. There's currently not a "Heaver" type factory rod available from Lamiglas, but I don't doubt that they may be considering one with the increasing popularity of our northern brethren venturing south! ;-) There will be more info on each particular rod forthcoming, but for now, rest assured, when you buy a Lamiglas, you are buying one of the finest factory rods made specifically for the fishing you will be doing! Also, from what I understand, Lamiglas is the only company the "spines" it's factory rods before building them. To "spine" a rod is to find the direction that the rod is designed to flex and then placing the guides on that side of the blank or 180 degree from that side, depending on the the type of rod being built. This allows the rod to most efficiently load for casting and allows it to flex properly when fighting fish. These Lamiglas rods are backed with a lifetime warranty against defects in material or workmanship for the original owner!
**Sorry - at this time, we cannot ship 9ft and longer 1 piece rods at a price that keeps the total cost to the customer any kind of value - as such, we are not presently offering any 1 piece rods or blanks 9ft or longer.
