Ron Arra Signature Series Rods
The cream of the crop when it comes to modern graphite casting and fishing rods, the Ron Arra line of rods are possibly the most coveted surf/jetty rods built today! They will cover a wider range of lure weights than most any other rod built, allowing you to use one rod for more situations. Designed to load better and cast much further than other name brand graphite rods, you will find them out casting the competition all over the north east! Light, strong, and responsive. Also, from what I understand, Lamiglas is the only company that "spines" it's factory rods before building them. To "spine" a rod is to find the direction that the rod is designed to flex and then placing the guides on that side of the blank or 180 degree from that side, depending on the the type of rod being built. This allows the rod to most efficiently load for casting and allows it to flex properly when fighting fish. These Lamiglas rods are backed with a lifetime warranty against defects in material or workmanship for the original owner!
* In 2005, Lamiglas re-named their old 1204 blank to 1203 as they felt that rod was more accurately described as a "3" power instead of a "4". And they also introduced a brand new 1204 blank! It's basically the same blank as last year's hit 1084, except in a much needed 10ft model! |
