Gotcha Lures
Gotcha Shad and Gotcha Twister Tails
These are the rubber shads that many folks prefer - including myself! They have the perfect blend of suppleness for wiggling and toughness for lasting. If you want to know if the 6" rubber shad you are holding in your hand is a good one, hold it by the head with it's tail pointing straight up - the tail should be soft enough to bend, by it's own weight, to almost touch the body of the shad. Bodies that are too rigid don't wiggle the right way when fished cross or up current...and shad bodies reeled directly against the current are least likely to entice the better sized fish you are after :-) Just a little something we picked over the years ;-)

Gotcha Shad Bodies

You can purchase ball jigs, bucktails, and shad jigs, both plain and painted right here. Our jigs aren't the standard sissy jigs you can buy in the store, but are made from molds that have been cut to accept bigger, stronger forged hooks - they are made to hold up to that big beast when you finally do stick it!

Gotcha Curly Tails
Gotcha 6" Curly Tails shown here in white, white w/ pink tail, chartreuse and solid hot pink.

And to the left, the Gotcha 6" Shad Bodies shown in black/chartreuse, pearl and black over pearl.

The curly tails are excellent on the back of a bucktail jig and can be fished on a plain ball jig as well. They are long, thin and very tough - yet supple enough to undulate seductively and drive fish wild.

The shad bodies are best fished on shad head jigs, either plain or powder painted with prism eyes (my favorite) - and they can be fished on the back of a bucktail to provide a real mouthful of a bait.
